Insulated Glass Units

Insulated Glass Units (IG units) improve window thermal performance in building envelopes by reducing temperature transfer through the glass. Combined with Low E or reflective coatings, IG units comply with local building codes, and perform better in energy conservation and climate control. Cristacurva offers a variety of Low E and reflective glass products available in the market, with the largest possibilities of glass make-ups, shapes, and sizes.

Laminated

At Cristacurva, we seamlessly combine art, engineering and advanced technologies to create Laminated Glass with superior qualities. Laminated glass is a product that can be utilized in any commercial or residential glazing application that requires energy efficiency, sound control, and safety glazing. It is comprised of one or more interlayers bonded between two or more lites of glass that holds together when shattered. Laminated glass is a durable high-performing glazing product designed to remain intact in an opening should glass damage or breakage occur.

Tempered

Tempered glass is a product that offers additional strength qualities than ordinary annealed glass. Unlike annealed glass, which can shatter into large shards when broken, tempered glass fractures into small pieces that are relatively harmless. Once glass has been tempered thru a controlled process, it is four (4) times stronger and more resilient to impact compared to regular annealed glass. As a result of its strength and resistance, tempered glass can be used in a variety of applications that require a safety glass product.
